"At its source everything corresponds with everything else": intertextual analysis of Agneta Pleijel's "A Fortune Foretold"

Niniejsza praca składa się z dwóch części. Pierwsza z nich dotyczy historii badań nad intertekstualnością w literaturze i sztuce. Przedstawione są w niej teorie najważniejszych literaturoznawców zajmujących się nawiązaniami międzytekstowymi. Część drugą stanowi interpretacja powieści "Wróżba. Wspomnienia dziewczynki" Agnety Pleijel ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem dialogów między nią a innymi tekstami kultury. Za schemat analizy posłużyły kategorie transtekstualności (czyli innymi słowy nawiązań międzytekstowych) stworzone i opisane przez Gerarda Genette’a.This study consists of two, main parts. The first one concerns the history of researches on intertextuality. It presents the most important theories formulated by literary scholars working on intertextual references. The second part is a interpretation of a novel "A Fortune Foretold" written by Agneta Pleijel with a main focus on dialogs between it and other texts of culture. Categories of transtextuality (in other words intertextual references) created by Gerard Genette were used as a pattern for the analysis
